One of the things that makes NFTY unique is that our movement is driven by teens. Teen leaders work in partnership with our adult leadership to develop, implement and evaluate every aspect of our organization, whether it's a program, event, or administrative policy. Once you're connected with us, there are a plethora of opportunities for you to grow as a teen, Reform Jew and leader.
NFTY-NE is looking to fill the following positions for the 2017-2018 school year:
Kesher Mentor: Volunteer as a mentor for new members! You will be paired with first-time participants to make their experiences even more positive, at and between regional events.
Institute Personnel: Personnel make our Institutes incredible! Personnel positions include Overalls (12th graders), Prayer Coordinators (11th graders), and Experience Coordinators (10th-12th graders).
NFTY678 Teen Leaders: Help inspire the next generation of NFTYites by coordinating and/or staff programming for middle school participants; may include day-long and overnight NFTY678 events.
Sub-Regional Chair: Help strengthen our sub-regions within NFTY-NE! Work with local TYGs in your general geographic area to create sub-regional events and engage both new and returning participants.
Programming Committee: Work with the regional Programming Vice President to group lead and facilitate programming at events.
If you're ready to take the next step, fill out the form to the right and be in touch with any of our current teen leaders. Based on your interest, we'll find the right place for you to take your excitement for NFTY to the next level.
